Click the Upgrade or Apply button to begin the process.

This is where the method shines. A "portable" update means you do not rely on proprietary software. Instead, you use a standard web browser, a TFTP client, or a simple file copy. You can carry the firmware file on a USB stick and perform the update from any device with an Ethernet port and a browser—no drivers, no installation, no Admin rights.

Open a web browser and navigate to http://vonets.cfg or the default IP 192.168.254.254 .

The browser will say "Uploading." When the progress bar reaches 100%, do not close the window . The Vonets will take approximately 90 to 120 seconds to flash the memory. The device will reboot automatically. If you unplug it during these 2 minutes, you will brick the device.

Do not power off the device during the process. It will automatically reboot when finished (approximately 80 seconds). Update Method 2: Remote Upgrade

Warning: Ensure you match the hardware version exactly. Flashing firmware meant for a different Vonets model will corrupt the flash memory. Step-by-Step Portable Firmware Update Procedure
