"I know what you mean," Lili replied. "I love watching the soil come together to create a beautiful garden."
Cary looked at the trail of golden light, then at her sister’s eager face. A slow, adventurous smile broke across Cary's face. "Fine. But if we get captured by wood nymphs, I’m telling Mom it was your idea." Into the Whispering Woods
“I’m bored,” Lili announced for the seventeenth time.
This was a game they had played since they were toddlers. One would start laughing for no reason. The sound was so contagious that the other would join in. Then the first would laugh harder, and the cycle would spiral until they were crying, wheezing, and rolling on the floor. lili and cary two princess playful part 3
Example: Lili’s impulsive decision to release colorful birds for a surprise spectacle is initially charming but later causes a minor diplomatic faux pas—forcing her to reckon with outcomes beyond delight.
Cary looked back toward the distant towers of the palace. "Lili, we’re not supposed to go into the Whispering Woods without a guard. You know what Father said about the wild magic out there."

Within ten seconds, they were a tangled mess of limbs on the floor, laughing so hard no sound was coming out. They were laughing at nothing. At everything. At the Duke's wigless head. At the jelly on the ceiling. At the sheer absurdity of being serious.
Lili looked around to ensure no spies were watching. She leaned in close. "You feel it too? I think the castle is getting sad. Even the suits of armor look droopy." One would start laughing for no reason
As they finished up, the gardener stepped back to admire their handiwork. "You two have done an amazing job," he said, beaming with pride. "The garden is going to be beautiful, and I couldn't have done it without your help."
Part 4 is already in the whispers. Rumors say the princesses will discover a hidden map to the , where sleepy dragons guard the world's largest pillow supply. Will Lili and Cary lead a pillow revolution? Will the Duke return with an even grumpier cousin?
As the sun sets on Part 3, we see Lili and Cary slumped against each other in the library, fast asleep and covered in a mixture of dirt, glitter, and cat hair. They’ve successfully avoided their lessons, fed the dust bunnies, and "slain" the dragon.
