The EZP2019 software is typically "portable," meaning it does not require a formal installation process.

This step is only required for unsigned drivers. Once installed, the setting resets on next normal boot.

Look through the list for an unknown device. It often appears with a yellow exclamation mark under and may be labeled as EZP2019 , USB Serial , or Unknown Device . Right-click the unknown device and select Update driver . Choose Browse my computer for drivers .

After the reboot, select > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart .

Now that Windows 10 allows unsigned drivers, you can connect your hardware and force the installation.

Ensure you are running the program with administrative privileges. Some older EZP software builds are prone to crashing if they lack deep directory write permissions under Windows 10.

Avoid using USB 3.0 (blue) ports, as they can sometimes cause compatibility issues with legacy driver installations.
